Our U14 team was at full strength for the tournament vs visiting teams Zug and Lugano on May 11. Our strength in depth paid off with two wins in this 15-a-side contest.

A well-oiled team performance against a strong Zug side, complemented by powerul running and excellent finishing, saw us run out winners by 5 tries to 3.

The next match against Lugano was more of an arm wrestle. But having taken an early lead in the first minute, our U14s never fell behind and ended up winners by 5 tries to 4.

The whole tournament was played in an excellent spirit - many thanks to Zug and Lugano for bringing large squads, a healthy dose of competitive spirit and a superb sporting attitude.

The tournament was rounded off by several hungry players helping themselves at the BBQ!
