Under mostly overcast skies with the occasional burst of sunshine, U8, U10, and U12 teams brought warmth and energy to the Würenlos Youth Rugby Tournament this weekend.

The U8 team showed fantastic improvement in their defence today—holding their line, supporting each other, and making it tough for their opponents to score. Their progress is really starting to show. A big well done to Paul, who was our Outstanding Player of the Day!

In the U10s, we witnessed some of the strongest performances of the season. Tim, Sean, and Franca played with incredible focus and determination. Congratulations to Tim and Sean for their exceptional tries!

The day also saw a proud milestone for the U12 team, as Oscar took on the challenge of refereeing a full U8 game on his own for the first time. U8 matches are known for their fast pace and unpredictability, but Oscar handled it with maturity and confidence—well done!

A heartfelt thank you to Würenlos for running such a smooth and welcoming tournament—and of course, for keeping the Boerewors flowing throughout the day.
